Liz wanted to do something extra for our patients and employees. She came to the leadership team with an idea to volunteer to make symbolic bear gifts. Our Hospice team supports this initiative and every time one of our patients dies or one of our employees loses a loved one, Liz reaches out for an article of clothing from the family and creates a teddy bear with familiar clothes for them. These crafted creative bears have become special treasures for employee & patient family members alike. Liz is so dedicated sharing her compassion & skills to provide life-changing service and giving everyone this loving memory.
